It’s festival time in Thrissur, the month-long carnival of films in the land of Pooram!  

The Nineteenth Edition of the International Film Festival of Thrissur (IFFT), 2024 is being held from 22nd to 27th March, 2024, which is not confined to a particular venue in the midst of the Thrissur town but spreading its wings to the suburban pockets too. The festival have eight other satellite centres in and around Thrissur District and satellite screening will be started from March 8th @– Irinjalakuda, Nattika,Perinjanam, Kodungaloor,Varandarappilly, Guruvayur,Pavaratty, Thriprayar/Thrissur,Avanoor
 

An amazing array of acclaimed films from various States of India and abroad will be showcased under different categories:

40 plus Short Films and Documentaries 

 Global Cinema – Internationally acclaimed contemporary films made in 2023 from across the globe 

 Indian Panorama – Films from various Indian languages (among them about 15 movies are having Kerala Premier)

14th K.W. Joseph Film Award for the Best Debut Film in Indian under the Competition Section, carrying a prize money of Rs. One Lakh.
